Originalmente editado en 1979 en Dublín y con una distribución extremadamente limitada, este tema vivió durante décadas como un secreto bien guardado entre selectores con oído fino. Hoy regresa con una nueva vida, listo para volver a girar donde mejor funciona: en el dancefloor.
Desde el primer golpe, “Welcome Back Into My Life” tiene ese groove elegante y cálido que define al mejor soul de finales de los 70. Los teclados envuelven, la base rítmica es firme pero fluida, y la interpretación vocal transmite una vibra positiva y directa que conecta de inmediato con la pista. Es de esos tracks que no necesitan presentación larga: entran suave, se quedan en la cabeza y levantan sonrisas sin esfuerzo. En el lado B, Medlar toma el control y lleva el tema hacia otro terreno completamente distinto.
